Rumours swirling around Vijay’s much-anticipated farewell film Jana Nayagan have added an exciting new twist — the possible inclusion of Revathy in a key role. According to industry sources close to the production, the acclaimed actress is said to be playing Vijay’s mother in the film, which is currently being shot in Kodaikanal.
Reunion on the Cards?
If true, this would mark a reunion after over two decades. The last time the two shared screen space was in the 2002 film Thamizhan, where Revathy portrayed his sister. This possible mother-son pairing has already sparked conversations among fans and cinephiles, who are eagerly awaiting official confirmation from the filmmakers.

The technical team is just as stellar, with Anirudh Ravichander composing music, Sathyan Sooryan handling cinematography, and Pradeep E Ragav on editing. The film is produced by Venkat K Narayana under AGS Entertainment, with Lohith N K and Jagadish Palanisamy attached as co-producers.
