
Samreen Kaur is on cloud nine after meeting global sensation Jackson Wang during his India visit. The actress who displayed her in Kabir Khan's '83, Nail Polish and Sardaar Ji 2, introduced Wang to Indian culture and mad him try famous street foods of Mumbai. During an exclusive chat with Filmfare, she opened up about her collaboration with Jackson and said, "It all started when Jackson’s team reached out during his visit to India. They wanted someone who could introduce him to the local culture in a fun, authentic way. Since I’ve always been passionate about representing India with warmth and style, the opportunity felt like a perfect match. We connected instantly, and the vibe just flowed from there."
Along with Samreen, Jackson walked the streets of Mumbai and tried paani puri. The actress was also invited to Wang's private party in Mumbai on Saturday. Describing the singer, Kaur said, "Jackson is genuinely one of the warmest and most grounded people I’ve met. He’s curious, respectful, and has such a great sense of humour. What really stood out was how present he is. He's not just here for the cameras; he truly wants to understand people and cultures."
The actress also spoke about the things she explored with Jackson and told us, "We explored a mix of classic and quirky spots, street food, local markets and even some peaceful places for chai and conversations. Our talks ranged from music, his journey and how he’s embracing India’s energy, to our shared love for good food and meaningful storytelling. It felt more like a friendship unfolding; he’s very warm." She continued, "I introduced him to our spicy street food, pani puri, vada pav, dahi puri and ganne ka ras! He also tried speaking Hindi and did surprisingly well. He tried playing gully cricket and it was a very fun experience."
