While many either avoid the topic or face judgment, Khushi Kapoor has addressed it with a refreshing level of honesty and maturity. The Nadaaniyan actor opened up about how the industry functions and how fans often hold stars to high standards. She shared that if someone chooses to undergo a procedure, it’s entirely their decision and they should do what makes them feel good.
While speaking to TOI, she was asked about her thoughts on artificial enhancements, and she responded honestly. She said, “If someone wishes to get work done, it is their choice, and they should do what suits them.” Khushi didn’t shy away from the subject and made it clear that she believes in individual freedom when it comes to one’s appearance. Her direct response stood out in a space where many still prefer to keep such topics under wraps.
She also admitted to having undergone procedures herself, saying, “She herself has been under the knife and people should have the right to choose whatever they want.” Khushi shared how she has made changes to her appearance and always tried to remain open about it. According to her, transparency is important, and she doesn’t believe in hiding anything from those who follow her journey.
While some might consider cosmetic procedures deeply personal, Khushi feels that celebrities carry a certain responsibility. She pointed out that many young and impressionable fans look up to public figures, and it’s important to be honest with them. “Celebrities need to acknowledge the amount of young and impressionable fans that look up to them, and hence they should be honest in order to avoid creating unrealistic beauty standards,” she said.
