The first look for the upcoming thriller Pratap has finally been unveiled. Amit Sadh will be starring in Pratap, playing the decorated role of the encounter specialist, ACP Pratap.
The poster features Amit Sadh at the centre with his bold new look in the avatar of a police officer, holding on to his firearm. You instantly get a sense of the dangers beneath this world and the seriousness in the atmosphere. Surrounding him is his ensemble of cast members, including Esha Deol, Jigmanshu Dhulia, Milind Gunaji, and Seema Biswas. Esha Deol was last seen in Tumko Meri Kasam back in 2025, which was also based around a similar genre.
Amit Sadh was last seen in Aakhri Sawal in 2026 itself under the direction of Abhijeet Warang. He will also be seen in The Saga of Rashtriya Rifles, which is due to release on October 1, 2026.
Sachin Saraf wears the director's cap for Pratap while also being responsible for writing the script. Pratap is based on a true story as we follow the encounter specialist who finds himself in a tough spot, being handcuffed by the very law he once stood to protect. The intriguing premise will help set the stage for a dramatic thriller, weaving a tale around loyalties, duty, and the fierce battle between law and the ones who live to uphold it.
Pratap will be the first film in which Sachin Saraf will feature as the main director. This is in continuation of his filmography, as he was previously involved as an assistant director on Veer and Apne. He was also a part of the script team for Shootout at Lokhandwala.
Pratap will be produced by Pradeep Rangwani under UV Films and will release in theatres on November 20, 2026.
